The Sharks swept through the SSC regular season and conference tournament titles, winning their three matchups in Kissimmee by an average of 23.5 points, including a 61-51 win over Barry in the championship.
For the first time in the last three seasons, they went on the road to compete in the South Region bracket, to Jackson, Tennessee, but would upend homestanding Union in the title game, 67-62.
At the Elite Eight in Sioux Falls, it took overtime to end the Sharks' season, at the hands of eventual National Champion, California (Pa.), 84-79.
